Restocked & NEW - Aug28/10

Summer & guests...

August wrap-up ramblings...

There are quite a few things going on around the PamJ and PamC households lately! A busy summer means - packing to go to the cabin or camping, various trips here and there including seeing the world's largest dinosaur, unpacking and catching up with laundry, emails, potty training in the PamC household, black eyes and glued cheeks in the PamJ household... and SO much more.

The excitement really never ends!  And I look back and wonder why August is almost over, especially when we have only been to the beach ONCE this year. OR was it twice?  Either way, I have still not been brave enough to try that on my own without the darling husband around.

For a Tiny TreeHugger update - we are going to start trying to update the blog with all the NEW and restocked products that come into our shop. This is to de-clutter our homepage and to also inform YOU of what is coming in!  The link on our homepage will be attached to a label on our blog 'newANDrestocked'...  watch for it!

We are also looking for a few more guest blog contributors - please email info at tinytreehuggerdiapers dot com if interested.  If you have any topic ideas you would like to see covered, feel free to let us know as well!  Typically we want to keep it related to cloth diapers, babywearing, or anything related to what we carry in our store. So be specific!

Recommendations for starting cloth?

We are 'taking it to the streets' so to speak and asking YOU the question:

What one recommendation would you give someone just starting out with cloth?

A Twitter follower says: @tiny_treehugger try a variety of styles first to see what fits best. Friends with cloth stashes who lend them out help too :)

PamJ says: don't give up! it is something that you either love or you don't & it may take longer than a day to find the love for it, if you don't feel it yet...

PamC says: You don't have to commit to doing cloth full-time right away.  If you're not totally comfortable with it, you can just do it during the day, or while you're at home, or whatever works best for you.  Using a mix of cloth and disposables is okay, if that's what works.  It's better than nothing.

What is your answer?

August 2010

Another month has come and gone, look at that!  It goes by so fast. Summer has blessed us with many hot & humid days, thunderstorms, rain for the gardens and fields & bugs to go along with that...

We have a lil something to help get you through August and put a smile on your face as well!

Please note: After 8 years of being in business, Rockin Baby has decided to close their doors and will no longer be selling the Rockin Baby Pouches and Slings, and so what we have in stock will be our last... We hope you will enjoy your Rockin Baby Pouch as much as I do!!

There are a few things left on our sale/clearance page as well!  We want to clear these out to make way for some new things headed out way :)

It is also World Breastfeeding Week, so we just wanted to acknowledge that and give you some more good reads at the website they have.  A little ways down the page is Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.  And one of the most important steps I want to note is the breastfeeding support groups, they are very important and full of women who are there to help you out and know you aren't alone. Of course, no fretting about those who aren't able to nurse!  We know it isn't always possible.

Happy Wednesday all :)

P.S. Keep up to date with us on Facebook and enter your email on the left sidebar to get blog updates sent to your inbox!!
